はじめまして！「スイッチサイエンス」といいます。 当店では、イタリア「Smart Project」社の正規代理店として、Arduino製品を販売しています。 これまで日本国内では、海外の通販サイトで購入することが多かったと思います。 皆さんが海外の通販サイトを使わなくてすむように、全てのArduino製品を、なるべく安価に、迅速にお届けしたいと考えています。 そのため、ちょっとがんばって、多めに在庫を持つようにしています。 どうぞよろしくお願いします！

Make: Tokyo Meetingにも出展されていたメカロボショップさんに続き、こちらでもArduinoが発売されるようになりました。今までだとSparkFunかAdafruitから個人輸入するしかなかったのですが、これでぐっと身近になった感じですね。ほぼ同時に秋葉原のアールティーさんでのGainer I/O販売も始まったということで、にわかにフィジカルコンピューティングまわりが日本でも盛り上がりつつあります。

本来はマイコン活用がメジャーなはずの日本で何故かばっさりとなかなか盛り上がってこなかったこの分野ですが、確実に新しい流れができつつあるのを感じます。いい意味での競争が起きてくることも含めてこれからが楽しみです。

各方面から注目されるということは、同時に「ブーム」として消費される危険性もあるのですが、そうならないように長いスパンで考えた上での活動を続けていけたらと思っています。
