Promi-ESD-02™

The new Promi-ESD-02™ is an OEM Class 2 Bluetooth Module type of Promi-SD™, which can be embedded in your applications such as mobile terminals or any kinds of machines for Wireless serial communications. Distance of 30 meters, easy-to-install, and low cost. Provided is point-to-point wireless connection without standard RS232 cables.

GAINER I/Oモジュールのv1.0.0（のハードウェア）がひと段落、ということで、以前から要望の多かったBluetooth対応に関して検討中です。以前からKC WirefreeのKC21でちょっとした実験は行っていました。しかし、Serial Port Profileに限定されている代わりにUARTとして簡単に接続可能であること、サイズが小さいことなど、こちらのモジュールはかなり魅力的です。

2006.4.30の時点では、なぜだかオンラインでのオーダーがうまくできないので問い合わせを出しているところですが、評価キットが入手できたら、早速実験してみたいと思います。
